A wave of nostalgia settled in as we were preparing for our second club fest. We had participated in the club fest in Spring 2015 as a NCD or New Club in Development. We returned this year for our second semester as an official All-University club. Along with us, we brought the 6-cup Chemex for display, along with 3 carafes of Rutas del Inca, Peru, roasted and donated to us kindly by Irving Farm. Whole bean coffee and ground coffee were displayed side by side for both a sensory and visual experience. Posters of our 2 upcoming events on February 4th and February 11th were on display, with Irving Farm pins, stickers and punch cards, our first-ever custom branded Coffee Club at NYU pens, custom-branded table runner and letter-size informational flyers. Sign-ups were easily monitored and swiped through a card reader connected to our laptop.
If the club fest is any indication, we're absolutely ecstatic to be back for a second semester with a new look, new programs and a new outlook on our events. We took into consideration the comments, feedback and insights we received last semester to curate an elevated experience for both our members and partners.
